Eugenia S. (“Genie”) Hansen is a partner in Hemingway & Hansen, LLP, an Intellectual Property Law Firm organized in Dallas, Texas in late 2005. Practicing in varied areas of IP, she has special expertise with respect to biotech, pharmaceuticals and medical inventions. She has prosecuted, litigated and licensed patents in these technologies and others throughout her twenty-four years of practice. She also has an active trademark and licensing practice.

Eugenia (“Genie”) passed away on October 31, 2012.
On August 20, 2013, she was posthumously awarded the first Tom Arnold Lifetime Achievement Award for excellence in intellectual property law, honoring those who demonstrate excellence in intellectual property law along with exceptional service to the public and the legal profession.
